    • We place emphasis on cost-effectiveness of lightweight trackers that are linked to our scalable software solutions, offering favourable terms vis a vis customers’ capital requirements, and always emphasising minimal to zero effort for end-clients.
    • We focus on post-theft tracking and recovery and stay well clear of the fluff that other bicycle trackers are involved in. We believe in simple and smart.
    • Slick and simple QR code scanning onboarding / or manually linking of QR codes.
    • Almost zero-touch for both us and the user:
      • we smartly charge and test each device (firmware and config), associate a unique identifier via IMEI, activate and insert SIM – and ship.
      • on arrival, the QR is scanned by the user (or even before arrival – the unit can thus be tracked in transit already)
      • the user’s WhatsApp is prompted to send a message to our bot which contains the info needed for linking
    • Interaction via smartphone with a Whatsapp-based interface.
    • Our event detection focuses on device movement to inform users of the device’s status.
    • We prompt the user with easy-to-respond-to WA templates.
    • Where the response is one that triggers an escalation on our side we enable high-resolution GPS tracking on the device through downlinking.
    • The user then receives a live tracking message and URL which breaks out to a public tracking link that can be shared as wide as possible, across X, Facebook and beyond.
    • We have integrated response partners that can respond in cases of non-responsive users or cases of loss or theft.
    • Devices: These are battery-powered IP68-rated small form factor GPS tracking devices, well-known in the global market and ready to provide excellent performance.
      • extremely easy to link all our partner-supplier’s hardware and we could likely integrate any of their other hardware within a matter of hours.
      • That said, we are also hardware agnostic.
    • Communication Protocols:
      • Cellular (2G): The devices communicate using cellular networks. Tested over the past 12 months in both the EU and South Africa.
      • We will switch towards other frequencies as the time comes.
      • We use both domestic and global providers with GDSP options.
    • Battery:
      • Depending on riding habits, the battery only has to be charged – on average – weekly.
      • A very smart and convenient charging solution is include, where there is never a need to remove the device from the bike.
    • GNSS:
      • Our tracker can use various satellite services and can locate your position within 3 meters of your actual location. We use GLONASS, Galileo, and GPS simultaneously but can also use BeiDou.
    • Mounting:
      • Mounting positions include under the saddle, on the seat post, on the bottle cage mount (does not obstruct a bottle cage) on the stem, and on the handlebars. We also have a housing that can attach to any Gopro mount.
