- Almost zero-touch for both us and the user:
- we smartly charge and test each device (firmware and config), associate a unique identifier via IMEI, activate and insert SIM – and ship.
- on arrival, the QR is scanned by the user (or even before arrival – the unit can thus be tracked in transit already)

- Our event detection focuses on device movement to inform users of the device’s status.

- Where the response is one that triggers an escalation on our side we enable high-resolution GPS tracking on the device through downlinking.

- Communication Protocols:
- Cellular (2G): The devices communicate using cellular networks. Tested over the past 12 months in both the EU and South Africa.
- We will switch towards other frequencies as the time comes.
- We use both domestic and global providers with GDSP options.
- Battery:
- Depending on riding habits, the battery only has to be charged – on average – weekly.
- A very smart and convenient charging solution is include, where there is never a need to remove the device from the bike.
- GNSS:
- Our tracker can use various satellite services and can locate your position within 3 meters of your actual location. We use GLONASS, Galileo, and GPS simultaneously but can also use BeiDou.
- Mounting:
- Mounting positions include under the saddle, on the seat post, on the bottle cage mount (does not obstruct a bottle cage) on the stem, and on the handlebars. We also have a housing that can attach to any Gopro mount.
